I give up 2019 perspective release

A few posts back I shared a hack that allowed me to get focused & achieve any goal! If you missed that... click here & open it in another tab right beside this one!! Trust me you want to read this first, it's a total game changer & will make you a smart goals overachiever! Let’s get laser focused, find out how here.

This year my book club friends & I decided to do something different. In order to accomplish more than you have before, you have to do more than you have previously. This book has helped me & countless others do that in more ways than one & it’s next up on our book club reading! We all love reading & at times have jobs that take up more free time than a little, so that's where Audible comes in! I love that it allows me the freedom to take the audio version of my books everywhere.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE

suddenly

Let’s discuss what the “difference” is in this year’s approach. In previous years, I planned out my goals, wrote them down on paper & made vision boards.

This year will be the similar; except the major change is me consulting God! I asked him what he actually wants me to do - how he’d like me to focus my efforts & how to best lighten my audience’s load. Then, I removed all distractions & waited!! I think the change came in part due to the amount of loss & trials our family experienced last year as a whole & this video. At times, it takes dark moments or things we deem as tragic to really help us focus on things of importance. Last year was notably a truly hard year, but I believe that we all go through things to make us stronger. In addition, I'm also a firm believer that our experiences are not solely our own. We go through, so that others can see there's beauty & light after the storm!

FOCUS ON THE FAMILY & KEEPING YOUR HEAD SKYWARD

Family has always been of major importance to me, so continuing to show up for those I love won't change. What I decided to focus on was the priority certain things had in my life & do a bit of re-arranging. For example, instead of waking up, handling a few tasks & getting on social media - I took a much needed break for perspective & replaced that with more quality time with the Lord. This break showed me that it is ok to take a break & let go & that the worst I thought would happen wouldn't. The break provided me with a clarity that I haven't had before & showed me who really is in control.

Change isn't something that comes easy to creatures of habit! In fact, when you make a declaration that you're doing this or that - it seems like opposition can come from every side. Focus on the things you can change & keep your head skyward! I'm rooting for you!
