POTTERY BARN INSPIRED DIY NAPKIN RINGS

As an interior designer it's always been one of my goals to provide my clients with gorgeous functional spaces, but sometimes people think if it's pretty it must cost tons! That couldn't be further from the truth in most cases. I've always been fond of DIY projects because I feel they provide a sense of accomplishment. Plus, it's a chance for you to show you friends how cool you are when they visit, & who doesn't like that?! If you follow me on Instagram, & have seen my stories, you've heard me rant about rising decor prices. When the time came to change my tablescape I decided to share this with you guys. Grab a pen & paper or screen shot this supply list & let's get started.

Pottery Barn Inspired Napkin Ring DIY

Supplies:

Supplies

Buttons (you can choose whatever kind you like. I chose the rhinestone variety for my table)

1 Pack of assorted Jump Rings (mine came in a pack of 240)

1 Pack of 10MM Jump Rings (they come in packs of 10 or 20)

1 Pack of white cloth napkins

Needle nose pliers

Directions:

Step 1: open your package of assorted jump rings. Go with the larger size, you'll thank me later. Open it slightly with your pliers. Set it aside.

Step 2: Grab one of your buttons & one of your larger jump rings. Thread the opening of the smaller jump ring through the sewing hole in the back of your button. It should look like this.

Step 3: Hold what you completed in step one together, while grabbing your larger 10MM jump ring.

Step 4: Slide your larger jump ring through the opening you made in your smaller jump ring. It should look something like this.

Step 5: Grab you pliers & close the opening in your small jump ring. The end result should look something like this.

Step 6: Grab one of your napkins & slide it through your newly created napkin ring.

This is one of my favorite DIY's & judging from your comments on my live video tutorial, it's yours too! I love how this little change has made my table look a lot more formal. I'd love to hear if you'll be trying this DIY. If you do, please tag me on social media, I'd love to see your creations!!
